Not only was it a great festival but the people of Pittsburgh were awesome. I met lots of really nice folks there who were all very excited to have such a big concert event happen in their town. I consider myself lucky in that not only did i get a chance to see a lot of the concert from the edge of the stage while covering the event for Blender but I got to do it alongside of CC himself (the aptly named \Mr. Connected\ in my review).

NAMU 2008 was an really cool event and an incredibly fun time for all. The folks at AE were really very great hosts and it was a very nice experience covering an event where all everybody wanted to do was get lost in the music and the moment. I even had a chance to talk to Kiedis briefly at the airport and I think he was genuinely surprised by the great reception this embryonic festival received.

All I can say is that I hope there's another NAMU sometime in the future because if there is, you'll definitely find me there.
